INDOHUN through the OHLN program has held a COVID-19 Laboratory Management Workshop and Introduction to the Higher Education Laboratory Network Communication Forum (PT) on Thursday, 24 February 2022. Follow up on this initiative, INDOHUN has created a platform and organized a Web Social Network Socialization activity for the Laboratory Network Communication Forum in Higher Education on Tuesday, 14 June 2022.
The activity began with remarks by Dr. drh. Joko Pamungkas, M.Sc (Vice Coordinator of INDOHUN) and further remarks were delivered by Dr. Mohammad Sofwan Efendi, M.Ed (Director of Resources, Directorate General of Higher Education Research and Technology, Ministry of Education and Culture – RI Research and Technology). This socialization further discussed the results of previous discussions regarding the management of laboratory networks at universities that were the referrals for COVID-19. During the discussion session, participants expect a place to share information, knowledge , and experiences. In addition, it can also provide information related to training, workshops, seminars, grants, research and others.
So based on these results, an OHLN web social network has been created (https://onehealthlab.net/keEMBERan/?lang=id) which brings together PT laboratories to become a forum for communication and information sharing between management, laboratory assistants, experts, policy makers regarding policies. laboratories, and others. In this web social network there are two types of membership, namely basic members and premium members. Both are free, the difference is that basic members can enjoy features and information, but they are limited. Then, if you want to become a premium member, the laboratory can download and upload a willingness to join the OHLN web social network, so that the laboratory will become a premium member who can access special content, namely exclusive news/articles, research reports, collections of documents (modules/guidelines and others), opportunities (information about training, workshops, seminars, grants, research and others), access calendars (can input event info from each laboratory which will later become a calendar of joint activities), join private groups and other features.
The next step is for laboratories that participate in the socialization of the OHLN social web network, a basic member account will be created first, which will then be informed of the username and password to each laboratory representative. Then, the socialization activity also conveyed the progress that was being carried out by INDOHUN, namely the PKS process with the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research and Technology. The general objective of PKS is to increase the capacity of health and science laboratories at PT. The specific objectives of PKS are strengthening laboratory policies, strengthening laboratory human resources, strengthening laboratory management capacity, strengthening communication and laboratories and strengthening laboratory research. Then, when the PKS will be signed later, it will show a willingness to join the Laboratory Network Communication Forum in Higher Education, which will be sent directly to the laboratory to be filled in and processed to become a premium member.
